DM Campaigns Hit By Weather

The build up to Christmas is always a busy time for Direct Mail campaigns, and this year the early snow has caused mayhem with Royal Mail even cancelling the guarantee on Special Delivery. At this time of year there are also large BAFTA mail-outs happening in the DVD distribution industry and it’s inevitable that any mailings left too late will be affected. Although there is little that can be done to prevent delays attributable to bad weather, having a schedule in place that builds in an allowance for some delays will negate some of the impact.
